(like I don’t have enough to read)
I went to Gleebooks today on my way back from getting my tax return done.
I was there mainly to renew my book club membership, but also to buy a copy of 1984. Instead of that, I ended up with the following:
- Eats Shoots & Leaves – a zero tolerance approach to punctuation, by Lynne Truss
- Status Anxiety, by Alain de Botton
- Plan of Attack, by Bob Woodward
- Salam Pax
- Not Happy John, my Margo Kingston
- Cat Haiku
The political books are ones I have looked at for ages, but been too lazy to buy. The last one just took my fancy on the day, and Salam Pax was recommended by a friend.
