Marrickville. Manly. Mona Vale
I started the long weekend with a (almost) 50km ride and ended it with a (almost) 100km ride. The actual stats are:
which comes out as 18.5 km/hr
The route crosses the Harbour bridge, follows Miller street to Military Road and then veers off onto Parriwi Road to the Spit bridge. After that it takes the scenic route to the top of the hill at Seaforth, and follows Sydney Road to Manly. From there it basically runs along the coast to Mona Vale, then heads out to Church Point to climb McCann’s Creek Road (8km of nice steady climbing). From Terry Hills I rode along Mona Vale Road to Gordon and then came down the Pacific Hwy to end up back at the bridge.
Here’s the map, followed by the profile.
